Dear beautiful human beings, Wishing you all a marvelous day! I want to start this blog by sharing with you how tough it was for me to actually write about an Article of the Human Rights, for what I see in the world is a massive violation of each one of the rights written in this act; and to be honest, there are some that don’t even make sense for me. Since, the idea of country and private land, the idea of “law” as I perceive it in the world today which to my eyes is implemented thru suffering and fear, the idea of arrest (deprivation of liberty), and many others are in absolute discordance with my values. Please, let me tell you, that even though since young age there where a lot of things that did not made sense to me, it had not been until last year that the Great Turning was available for me so that I could jump in the abyss and realize with wide eyes in what world I was living in. Just then it really became clear to me in what world I am living in and grew such a desire to make a change.
So, even if this blog was a very hard process for me to write, and I felt like I really had to push it hard to get it done, I still want to share it with you. Please feel absolutely free to read it or not ;) Because this will probably be the one and only blog I will write about the Human Rights as they are (For I am strongly thinking of writing my own Beings Act – Humans Rights, hmmm… LIVING RIGHTS!) and I believe there are some pertinent facts and perspectives that could be useful in different ways… Human Rights, Article 1: “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.” Just by reading it briefly I can absolutely say that this is not a right that is been taken care of in any measure what so ever; at least not the first part of it for we are born encrypted on a system that does not even take us as human beings, but as numbers. And as far as the second part there are some amazing human beings coming back to this brotherhood spirit, but in front of a massive system I feel like this is not enough. I honestly believe it’s impossible to reach a free and dignifying life for all beings while being in the capitalist system we live in today. However, before getting there I will like to start by sharing with you briefly how this article would take form in my ideal world (The world I am stepping up to help manifest!) “A world where we all come back to nature, not in the half way notion that implies taking the capitalist system we live on and just transposing it into a wild space*, but honestly having a desintoxication of all our systems of belief, absolutely dropping all conceptions of the world today and starting over. Getting in touch with one-self to start with; doing deep healing work, getting our skills, strengths and passions defined so that we know how we can contribute to life. Learning different communication and empowerment skills that can help us share in a harmonious, peaceful and clear ways with one another, while taking full responsibility of our existence and the constructions we wish to manifest. To be able to live one more time in tribe, community, where we all have a pertinent role that we thrive on; and where the children can run wild and Free thru the forest, the fields and all forms of nature. Where family encompasses a bigger web, and we can support one another in this quest we call life, without masks, without expectations; but because we genuinely care.”
Which I feel this is pretty much XXIst century slavery in so many ways; and the craziest thing to my eyes is that it is definitely not only the people on the “3rd world countries” are deprived from freedom and dignity, but it is happening here, right now, all around me. And let me share with you the why by starting with my definition of freedom: Living a natural state of being, (which for me implies been in nature and satisfying our human needs in a healthy and nourishing way for us and all life around us, including the need for tribe and connection) in which we are all able to take responsibility of manifesting our passions, thru our strengths and skills for the wellbeing of all beings and nature. Where our own freedom ends where the freedom of the other person starts; for we learn to take integral decisions and honor all forms of life. And well, as far as dignity goes, for me it means: respect towards all forms of life; honoring all their colors and highlighting their strengths. Which comes very linked to honoring one’s own freedom and the freedom of life itself. Since, in my perspective, if we come back to land, if we reclaim the earth for all humans and living beings, if we all have access to healthy food from the fields, clean waters from the rivers, shelter and community… I believe we can achieve a more nourishing life style in so many levels.
On my side, I am willing to actively work towards the manifestation of a more nourishing life thru writing, musical expression, theatre, and workshops with a strong focus on healthy communication techniques, taking responsibility, empowerment, community building and coming back to nature; hopefully in both a static natural space to create a settlement and a nomadic caravan to share this in all corners of the world! And you, what steps would you like to take for the creation of a more fulfilling and thriving world? Thank you for your reading time!! Wishing this was encouraging at its own levels ;) Buen camino, Juanita
